HONOURED WITH THE UNSUNG HERO AWARD

I feel very humbled to have received the Unsung Heroes Award today at the Orient Hall in Durban.The event saw the launch of The Unsung Heroes Publication which is a book that will be there for our future generations. My heartfelt thanks and appreciation to Fawzia Peer and her dedicated team for making us be part of this historic day.

THE UNSUNG HEROES COMMITTEE MESSAGE every community has unsung heroes and unfortunately they are taken for granted and seldom acknowledged a group of individuals  with the former Deputy Mayor Fawzia Peer having convened and discussed such individuals of Indian heritage within Ethekweni decided to publish a book which would honour services rendered by such persons through selfless dedication and commitment and who were not previously  recognised  for their service.
